Academic Credentials and Board Certifications:
Dr. Westine began his long academic journey at the
University of Florida where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
After his undergraduate training, he went on to earn his
medical degree from the University of Florida's College of
Medicine where he was inducted into the prestigious, Alpha
Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After completing his
internship in general surgery, he continued his training
after being selected for a four year residency in the
University of Florida's Department of Otolaryngology (Head
and Neck Surgery). After completing residency training, Dr.
Westine pursued a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he
trained along side some of the world's finest facial
plastic, oculoplastic, and plastic surgeons. Dr. Westine is
certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and
Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of
Otolaryngology.
Honors, Awards and Professional Societies:
Dr. Westine has been published in over a dozen medical
journals and books including the American Journal of Long
Term Effects of Medical Implants in 2005. He has also served
as an invited speaker at the Florida Cosmetic Surgery
Exposition. In 2002 Dr. Westine was the recipient of the G.
Slaughter and Fitz-Hugh Research Award and selected as
Resident Teacher of the Year in the University of Florida's
Department of Otolaryngology. He is a member of the American
Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well
as the International Society of Hair Restorations, and the
American Academy of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Westine is a native of Delray Beach, Florida where he
lives today with his wife Tina and three beautiful children.

serves as adjunct clinical assistant professor at the
University of Florida, and donates his time to operate with
and teach facial plastic surgery to surgical residents
there. In his precious free time, Dr. Westine enjoys tennis
and boating with his family.
