Will my eyes change shape?
One of the most common concerns we hear from patients seeking eyelid surgery is that they do not want to look “startled” or “change their eye shape”. Eyelid surgery should restore a well-rested and natural balance to the eyes.
Will I get dry eyes?
Dr. Westine may require a patient to see their ophthalmologist prior to having eyelid surgery, if you have a history of dry eyes or other ophthalmologic problems.
Will my dark circles go away?
Dark circles that are caused from having thinning skin and bulging fat will be improved after lower lid surgery. Dark circles that are hereditary or caused by vascular problems, hyperpigmentation or allergies will require another form of treatment such as IPL lasers , topical hydroquinone or tear trough dermal fillers.
